To celebrate Hanshi's 70th birthday here is a little song composed by Dave Griffiths:
Over forty years ago from the land of the rising sun,
Where warriors and men of honour were born,

Welcome
Shotokan Karate is a traditional martial art which requires a great deal of discipline and commitment.
S.K.I Perth were the first Scottish club to affiliate to S.K.I.G.B. They made their first application
in 1977 and Sensei Kobbarra came to Perth in November of that year paving the way
for Hanshi Asano who came in April 1978 and has returned on a regular basis ever since
S.K.I Perth receive regular courses and gradings with Hanshi Asano 9th Dan (European Chief Instructor).
The club also attends the S.K.I.G.B national championships held in Nottingham each April and August.
Training Times:
- Tue: 6pm - 7pm
- Fri: 6pm - 7pm, adv class 7pm - 8pm
- Sun: 11am - 12pm, adv class 12pm - 1pm
